New (Healthier) Menu Items
Well, the holidays are over and now it's a new year (and new decade). If you ate (and drank) more than you should have over the holidays and you're looking to eat healthier this year, but don't want to sacrifice eating delicious food, we now have some new menu items that are big on flavor, but not on calories.
This month we are testing new side salads as an option instead of fries or onion rings. They come with spring mix, cherry tomatoes, herbed croutons, onions, and your choice of salad dressing (House-made ranch, honey mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, or creamy French).
Unsweetened Applesauce Pouches
These pouches are a new healthy side option for our kid meals and, since they don't require a spoon, there is less chance of a mess.
Our house-made veggie burgers have been on the menu since the beginning, but many people aren't aware of the delicious ingredients the burgers are made with. We start with a base of red quinoa, portobello mushroom, and zucchini, then we mix in parmesan cheese, salt, crushed red pepper, bread crumbs, onion, and egg. It is an amazing, flavorful option for those looking to cut some calories from their meal.
When you pair our veggie burger with a side salad and a Coke Zero, you get a full meal with as little as 675 calories. So, even though you may be trying to "eat better" in 2020, you can still find great options at the Hoss' Loaded Burger Shop.
